The team is led by a husband and wife duo who are equipped with a combined expertise in education, marketing, and technology. Backed by a group of investors who have an arsenal of experience in acquiring, operating, and growing small businesses in their respective industries, together, they have the experience and capital to buy a small business and accelerate to its full potential.
Michelle and Michael share their passion for entrepreneurship and are enthusiastic about joining their unique backgrounds and applying it to the long-term growth of a business. On the weekends, they are avid pro-rookie pickleball players and enjoy traveling with their two fur babies.
Michael Luu
Michael has a robust background in software development, data engineering, and sales. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a BS in Economics. Through his role as a Data Operations Engineer for Land O’Lakes, his expertise in technology equips him with the skills to analyze and optimize business operations, providing valuable insights for scaling and improving efficiency.
Having previously taken over a family-owned business, he understands the nuances and challenges in maintaining and expanding a legacy. Michael has a proven track record of implementing technology solutions that enhance operational performance and profitability. His sales experience further complements his technical skills, enabling him to develop effective strategies for business growth. You can always count on Michael to lead with his curiosity and thirst for knowledge in conversations. He likes to market himself as the “brains behind the operation” in their partnership.
Michelle Mirza
Michelle brings extensive experience in education, digital marketing, and leadership. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a BA in English Language and Literature. Her role as an educator and English Team Lead in Title I schools for Mansfield ISD is where she honed her skills in leadership, relationship-building, conflict resolution, and team management, earning accolades for her dedication and impact.
Transitioning to digital marketing and copywriting, Michelle now leverages her communication skills and creativity as the executive producer behind the Bare and Brutal Podcast. Her expertise in crafting compelling narratives and building strong relationships is essential for business ownership. These skill sets, combined with her proven abilities in conflict resolution and leading a team, are crucial in operating and growing a small business. Michelle likes to market herself as the “heart of the bunch” between her and her husband Michael.

After years in the healthcare industry, Tiffany decided to pivot to business, recognizing it as the common denominator for building wealth. She returned to school for an MBA, focusing on the intricacies of building and acquiring businesses. Driven by a passion to support the underdogs of business, Tiffany eagerly embraced the mission of Legacy Searchers to help small, family-owned businesses thrive.
Parth Kankran
Parth brings a unique blend of technical and financial expertise to Legacy Searchers, pursuing both a Bachelor's in Computer Science and a Master's in Finance from Texas A&M University. With experience in strategy consulting and business analytics, Parth excels in identifying growth opportunities and enhancing operational efficiencies. His passion for leveraging technology to drive business success aligns perfectly with Legacy Searchers' mission to acquire and grow high-potential companies.
